What does this app do?

This tool helps capsuleers quickly appraise their EVE Online items and assets. It pulls live market data directly from ESI, ensuring prices are accurate and up to date.

You can also create watchlists to track market prices over time and monitor profit/loss on your investments.

What is the “Link age” option?

When you create an appraisal, you can choose how long the shareable link stays active before it expires. After that time, the link will no longer be accessible.

How often is market data updated?

All market order prices are pulled live from ESI and cashed for 10 minutes before being updated, so they reflect the most current data available from the EVE Online API.

Market Watcher only updates prices if an item has not been used in the last hour by appraisal. The update process runs every 15min.

Do I need to login to use this app?

No login is required for basic appraisals. However, if you want to use the Watcher feature to track market prices over time, you'll need to login with your EVE Online account via SSO.

We only store your character name and ID — no sensitive account data is saved.

What is the Watcher feature?

The Watcher lets you create watchlists to track market prices for specific items in a region. You can monitor profit/loss over time, set target prices, and see how your investments are performing.

Each watchlist tracks items from when you add them, showing current prices vs. starting prices with profit/loss calculations.

Help!, I'm missing items in the appraisal

The system removes duplicate entries by merging them together.

If no market orders could be found for an item within the selected region, this item will show-up as zero.

Do we store any personal data?

Appraisals are processed in memory and only stored for the selected duration when requesting the appraisal.

If you login to use the Watcher feature, we store your character name and ID, plus your watchlists. No sensitive EVE account data is saved.

My apologies if something is not working as intended. I have build this by myself and I might have missed something.

You can refresh the page and try again.

If the issue continues, check that ESI is up and responding. You can also report bugs or suggestions in the #Bug or #Suggestions channels in our Discord.
